WELCOME TO THE LODGE

A unique place for unique children

The Lodge, is a beautiful Victorian building converted into a bespoke, safe and modern nursery setting.

The interior has been carefully renovated to create a home from home style setting, restoring and enhancing the property’s original features enabling a character filled environment.

It has been thoughtfully decorated throughout with natural tones to provide a nurturing and soft foundation to engage the children’s learning experiences.

THE INDOOR SPACES

The nursery has five beautiful cosy classrooms in the main building, with the babies being based on the lower floor and toddlers on the upper.

We also have a purpose-built cabin located in a quiet corner of our stunning garden, designed specifically for the preschool children which is a space filled with resources and equipment to extend the children’s learning experiences and creates a space of wonder and awe to enhance school readiness.

THE OUTDOOR SPACES

Loved by our children and families, and cared for by our experienced and passionate maintenance team, the garden takes pride of place at the Lodge and is a focal point.  

Our landscaped garden creates defined areas for the children to explore and enjoy and encourages local wildlife, which provides the children opportunities to observe and explore in natural habitats.  

Our outdoor space has endless learning and development possibilities, from a climbing frame to promote physical development to designated sand and water play areas and much more to keep the children engaged continuously.

LILA & LUCY

Here at the Lodge we let the children explore first-hand in feeding and caring for two of our very own rabbits, Lila and Lucy.

We understand how children are very keen learners, by scaffolding the children's learning and extending their knowledge. We are very proud to give children the opportunity to have real life experiences to explore and nature a passion for animals.

A LITTLE EXTRA

Deborah Jayne’s School of Dance also joins us to provide fun and engaging activities supporting children’s engagement and development through music.

We also have playball join us once a week to deliver a sports-based session which promotes a variety of areas of development alongside peer interaction and above all else is buckets of fun for the little ones!
